voip-mg Appliance plus
The Junghanns.NET voip-mg Appliance plus is a simple solution to providing GSM and ISDN connectivity to any PBX using either the SIP or the IAX2 protocol. The appliance runs the voip-mg software and offers an easy to use web-interface to configure all ports and channels.
But the open - Appliance can be much more than a simple gateway. The linux host system offers the opportunity to run a linux based questsystem using XEN paravirtualization technology.
Inside the guest system the user can run any flavour of linux based PBX, i.e. Asterisk Buinsess edition, Freeswitch, trixbox, or others. The Appliance registers as a PSTN gateway to the guest system and users can choose from the whole variety of available Junghanns.NET interface cards. All interfaces can be ordered in the desired configuration from Junghanns.NET.
All appliances have easily accessible connectors and interfaces facing to the front. Among others it features 2 RJ 45 GigaBit LAN ports, 2 USB, 2 PS/2, 1 VGA (onboard GMA 950 32 MB). the appliance is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6 Ghz processor and can be customized to contain up to 2 GB of non ECC RAM making it powerful enough to support up to 2 Primary Rate Interfaces to integrate an existing PRI infrastructure. In the basic version it provides a 2 GB SSD partition for the guest OS.
If necessary the 19 inch brackets can be removed and rubber feet can be attached to the casing.
